This week is National Veterinary Technician Appreciation Week 🩵🐾🩺 There are only a few national occasions on the calendar that I let dictate what I do and what I post- this is one of them! This occasion deserves recognition bc of the people it celebrates: my peeps! 🥰🙌💪
This week, Hope Veterinary Hospital had EXTRA fun, food, caffeine and gifts 🎁 🥳🍰☕️
To everyone that has ever shared a logo on their scrub top with me, thank you 😊😘🤗

All this talk about voting this week 🗳️🤔 Don’t forget: Hope Veterinary Hospital has the cutest election in town 😻🐶🐾🩵
We dressed up our pets for a fun costume contest where YOU come vote for your favorite pet with the donation of shampoo, body wash or conditioner 🧼🧴🤩
Donations will be collected until October 30th and go directly to CASA kiddos in our surrounding counties 🥰🩵🤗

🐾❤️ Meet Hope’s dog, Bessie, aka Big Momma! ❤️🐾
Eight years ago, Bessie was running loose in the street after having a litter of puppies. I pulled over to check on her, and without hesitation, she hopped right into my car and straight into my heart.
For years, I told my husband she just showed up at our house out of nowhere. I guess some love stories are just better when you leave out a few details!
These days, Bessie has officially retired from her job as the great protector of our home and has taken on a new, very important role: professional house hippo, couch cuddler, and full-time family sweetheart.
Bessie is a beautiful reminder of what rescue is all about. She is proof that rescue dogs have so much love to give and that pit bulls are so much more than the stereotypes people place on them. She has brought so much joy, loyalty, and love into our lives, and we couldn't imagine our family without her.

We are having fun raising donations for CASA kiddos in our area 🤩🐶😻 We dressed up our pets for a costume contest where y’all place your votes of shampoo and conditioner and body wash 🧴🧼😊

Meet the pet that currently has the most votes: Dash with the Stash 😻🥸🤠 When Dash was a tiny kitten, a family member found her on Interstate 20. After rescuing her, she managed to climb into the dashboard of the truck. (So, naturally, we named her Dash) When he returned home, we spent the next 3-4 hours playing a real-life game of cat and mouse trying to get her out of the dashboard. That was six years ago, and Dash has been with us ever since! These days, she spends her time eating, lounging, and loving on her human baby brother. And, in case you were wondering, the mustache is 100% natural! 😉🥸😻
