This annual LGBTQ+ Pride event will take place at the Heritage Park Amphitheater Stage on June 25 from 6-8:30 p.m. Pride OUTside will kick off the Thursday Night LIVE Concert Series for the summer. The event aims to unite the people of Canton through a celebration of LGBTQ+ culture, promoting visibility and inclusion throughout the community.

A few of our young clients’ favorite therapy room staples lately...

Dress-up clothes, sensory tiles, weighted stuffed animals, puppets, and ✨all✨ the glitter.

These materials might look like simple play items, but they help create comfort, connection, creativity, and emotional expression during sessions. Sometimes the best therapeutic conversations happen while covered in glitter or holding a weighted giraffe.

We love creating spaces where kids can feel safe enough to play, explore, and do the hard work of therapy in ways that feel natural to them.

This month's reading recommendation is The Boy with Big, Big Feelings by Britney Winn Lee.

Recommended by our amazing play therapist and autism specialist, Kate, this book is excellent at normalizing the experience of deeply feeling kids. We suggest caregivers and kids read it together to prompt discussion and develop a shared understanding of these feelings.
