📚 Two weeks into school… how are they seeing the board? 👀

The backpacks are packed, new shoes are broken in, and school is officially underway! But now is a great time to make sure vision isn’t getting in the way of learning.

Squinting, sitting closer, headaches, or trouble seeing the board can be signs of myopia (nearsightedness) or other vision changes.

👓 Start the school year seeing clearly! Schedule your child’s eye exam with Espy Vision.

📚 Clear vision. Confident learning. 🧡

🏈 We’re in the thick of football season!

As both the optometrist and a mom of an athlete with amblyopia ("lazy eye"), I know how important good vision is—on and off the field. 👀

Athletes rely on depth perception, tracking, peripheral vision, and eye-hand coordination every time they step on the field.

💜 From one sports parent to another—make sure an eye exam is part of your athlete’s game plan!

🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

We tried to get the whole crew together for a cute National Dog Day photo… but only one was willing to sit still long enough to model her new glasses. 😂👓💗

She understood the assignment. The other two? Not so much. 🤦‍♀️🐶

Happy National Dog Day from all of us at Espy Vision—including our less-than-cooperative furry family members! 🐾💕

👓 Could your child be missing what’s on the board? Myopia (nearsightedness) is becoming increasingly common in school-age kids—but today, we have options that can help slow its progression!
Watch for: 👀 Squinting
📱 Sitting too close to screens
🏫 Trouble seeing the board or distant objects
💡 Needing brighter light to see
Noticing any of these signs? Schedule an eye exam with Dr. Sappington and ask us about myopia management options! 👓
