PART ONE: Trauma wires the brain for chaos and rigidity. We swing between states of hyperarousal and shutdown rather than flexibility. This also can lead to a permanent state of survival (hypervigilance). It wires and creates fixed, defensive neural pathways that trigger automatic fear responses, reducing cognitive flexibility and making it harder to process emotions or adapt to new situations. The ability of an organization, company, leader to hear complaints, criticisms and comments depends of the state of their nervous system. A regulated leader would be curious to hear what the person says instead of being defensive. They would respond in ways such as this: "I am interested in hearing more." "How do you feel about this?" "I am curious how you see this perspective and ideas you have in resolving your complaints." "I appreciate your perspective and would like to hear more." " Thank you for telling me your perspective and how you feel." "Let's brainstorm ways to resolve this." They might say " I can see/hear you and thank you for telling me." This is a highly evolved leader looking to resolve issues.
A leader that is unregulated will feel defensive, takes it personally, reacts rather than responds, and acts by punishing and controlling. This is the toxic society we live in based on generational trauma and a dysfunctional patriarchy, poor managerial styles lack of Conscious Communication. If our leaders aren't evolving than neither are we. We can do better as a society and it is my mission to help people to know they are not victims to their outer world. 🙏🕊☮

Do you have 8 minutes to have a with a guided meditation? I invite you to try it out. What do you have to lose? Pressure, tenseness, anxiety, stress? Try it a number of times, depending on the state of your you maybe able to drop into this experience faster, deeper, more connected. That's what we are looking for to shift the nervous system to something softer.
