Today, we celebrated with our amazing Lee Health team members! Lee Health and Cape Coral Hospital have invested in a brand new, state-of-the-art and first-of-its-kind, ARTIS Icono ceiling Angio Suite, which enables us to continue providing world-class care to our patients.

We are fortunate to have the first installment of this imaging technology throughout the Southern US. Our patients now have access to the market’s most advanced technology for image-guided procedures, and 3-dimensional images that are rendered faster than any system. This was a great event, and we are very thankful for everyone's support: System Leadership, IS, Facilities and Construction, Siemens Med-Lab, and our Radiology leaders alike.

In Southwest Florida, Lee Health is the leader in imaging equipment, which is accompanied by strong support from our leaders and our Board. Our Radiology teams are consistently focused on increasing quality care outcomes for our amazing patients.

Recognizing the Women's Leadership team for being verified by The Joint Commission as a Level II Specialty Care Maternity Hospital. The team was also recognized by the Florida Department of Health and ACHA for achieving the national benchmark for low cesarean rates and has recently undergone a vigorous survey for re-designation as a Baby-Friendly Hospital! Congratulations!

Recognizing the team who completed the Nurse Leadership training for NICHE. Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE) imparts principles and tools to stimulate changes in clinical practice to achieve patient-centered nursing care for older adults in healthcare facilities. The vision of NICHE is that all older adults, age 65 and over, receive age-friendly, exemplary nursing care. Congratulations!!!
