Hi, I’m Dylan ( and this is my husband Derek )🪷
Time for an introduction ..
I didn’t become a yoga teacher because I’m naturally calm, endlessly patient, or because I have life completely figured out.
Quite the opposite, actually. 😂
I’ve been practicing yoga for more than 15 years, and somewhere along the way, what started as a physical practice became something much bigger.
Yoga became a place for me to practice slowing down, paying attention, breathing through discomfort, creating space before reacting, and finding my way back to myself when life feels a little too loud.
And after all these years, I’m still practicing those things.
That’s a huge part of why I teach the way I do.
My classes aren’t about creating the perfect pose or keeping up with the person next to you. Yes, we build strength, balance, mobility and flexibility—but we also practice patience, awareness, breath, and learning to actually listen to our bodies.
I believe yoga should feel accessible, useful, and human. You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need to know the poses. You don’t need the right body, the right clothes, or the ability to shut your brain off for an hour.
You just have to show up.
I’m a RYT-200 yoga teacher currently continuing my education through 300-hour advanced teacher training, but more importantly, I’m still a student of this practice myself. There is always something more to learn, explore and experience.
I teach everything from slow, intentional movement and restorative practices to stronger flows that challenge balance, strength and confidence. No matter what we’re practicing that day, though, my goal is always the same:
To create a space where you can explore what your body is capable of, meet yourself exactly where you are, and maybe leave feeling a little more at home in yourself than when you walked in.
No perfection required.
Come as you are. 🪷
