Important Info for All Clients and Patients!

As Dr. Paul's practice continue to grow and we do our very best to smooth travel schedules, barn schedules, and human and animal needs, we’re making a couple of changes to help Paul show up at his best.

📋 CANCELLATION POLICY 📋
We kindly ask for at least 48 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. We understand that life (and animals!) are unpredictable, and we will always do our best to work with you.

• Cancellations within 48 hours will be charged 50% of the appointment fee.
• Same-day cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full appointment fee.

This policy allows us to offer that time to others who are waiting for care. The best way to cancel your appointment is to text Lauren at 207-689-1599, or if you are able to log onto your account in our new system, you can change your appointment schedule there.

🚗 TRAVEL/SITE FEE — Effective July 1 🚗

Beginning July 15, a $20 travel fee will apply to all home visits for human patients and small animal patients. This helps us offset the costs of bringing Dr. Paul directly to you. We are grateful for your continued understanding and support.

Equine farm call fees remain at $50.

As always, if you have any questions or need to make changes to your appointment, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are so grateful for each and every one of you and your animals for making this work so fulfilling.

Good news! We have successfully migrated to a new booking program. All clients and patients should have received an email earlier today inviting you to create your username and password. You will be able to log in and see your visit history, make payments, and schedule appointments for our Cape Elizabeth location (humans + small animals only). For all equine and on-location appointments, booking will continue to be by text at 207-689-1599.

Please note that we are now instating a 48-hour cancelation window.

📣 IMPORTANT! We are switching to a new software platform, which will mean that online booking will not be available starting tomorrow, Thursday 6/10 until Tuesday 6/16. If you need to make any changes to your scheduled appointments between those days, text Lauren at 207-689-1599. We will not be able to do any scheduling during this downtime, so please be patient as we make this transition. All existing patients and clients should be receiving a welcome email sometime next week that will link you to your online account with us.

Hi all, Lauren here! I wanted to say thank you to all our wonderful patients and clients for your patience as I work to squeeze everyone in! Dr. Paul’s summer schedule is nearly full with some openings left for the end of July and August. I sit at the kitchen counter with the iPad and the phone, jumping back and forth between calendars to make sure I can get Paul out to everyone who needs him, and it truly warms my heart when I get texts like this in the midst of that. It is a joy to facilitate this connection between Paul and all of you. Thanks for bearing with me 🩷🙏

📣 LD 1220 DID NOT PASS! Immense gratitude to all who called their representatives in Congress! There is work ahead and we will surely keep you posted!

Here’s a photo of Dr. Paul and our horse, Jack, who passed away in 2024. Jack was Paul’s first patient and our greatest teacher. We owe so much to him and his teachings.
