✨ The Theory & Practice Massage Training Program is not for everyone. Because not everyone is ready to create safety within themselves or others.

✨ It is my responsibility to put out massage therapists who are strong in themselves and safe for the community- physically and emotionally.

I’ve been busy lately soaking up the last moments of summer before everything starts.

I’ve also been sitting with the discomfort of waiting. In this final stretch before the program begins, I’ve noticed a lot of thought patterns coming up- some riddled with self doubt.

My bff accidentally came up with a mantra that has helped so much! I always tell her she’s the best at everything she does and the other night she stopped me and said-

“I am A person and I’m DOING my best.”

Such a good reminder that it doesn’t matter if we are good or bad at whatever we do. Those things actually don’t exist. As long as we are DOING our best.

So here’s to putting yourself out there and doing YOUR best! Whatever that looks like. Doing the things you love and giving it your all because what else is there, really?? We are on borrowed time. Don’t waste it.

I’m 4 years deep on this leg of my massage therapy career (after a long break between my first year and now). It has taken me this long to be able to trust the process enough and even BEGIN to understand the flow. To not jump out of my skin when my mind and body demand rest. To honor the call for connection to the self. But, I’m learning to trust the rest is for a reason. Like an arrow being pulled back before the bow releases. Life is so much easier when we can surrender to the flow.
