We tend to the body. We nourish it, move it, rest it. And yet the energetic field that surrounds and animates it rarely receives the same care.

On Wednesday, August 5th at 5pm, Sondra Hamilton opens an experiential outdoor workshop rooted in Yucatec Maya wisdom. You will learn the spiritual uses of specific herbs, prepare herbal aspersions with clear intention, and give and receive a spiritual bath in a sacred, supported container.

This is plant medicine in its most elemental form. Come with a willingness to work with the living intelligence of the natural world.

For healers, practitioners, and anyone who feels called to tend to their energetic field.

Trauma is not carried as a story alone.

It can live in the body as tension, bracing, guarding, and patterns that shape how we move through the world.

This October, join Kali Basman at True Nature for Anatomy of Trauma, a weekend immersion exploring the meeting point of the anatomical body, the inner landscape of our protective parts, and the awareness that allows us to witness, relate, and soften what has been held in our bodies.

Through Yin and Restorative Yoga, Internal Family Systems, Buddhist mindfulness and meditation, somatic inquiry, and nervous system education, we will explore how the body and mind hold our experiences, and how compassionate awareness can create space for integration.

In Ayurveda, Lavender is one of the most revered plants for calming the nervous system, cooling excess heat, and drawing the mind inward. We thought it deserved a proper summer drink.

Two of them, actually.
