I (LeAnne) find music reaches places in my soul that words alone cannot touch. Admittedly, I spend too much time on YouTube searching for music that speaks to me. This morning was a good example of that. My Mother died, unexpectedly, in 1991 at the age of 55, and there is not a day that I do not think of her. Even after 35+ years, I’ve learned that grief doesn’t follow a schedule. It comes in waves—sometimes gently and sometimes when we least expect it.
