Words can tell you what someone does, but they can only tell you so much about who that person is. I believe there is something different about actually meeting someone, talking with them, spending time with them, and experiencing their essence.

I’m direct. I’m relational. I care deeply about the people I work with, and when someone comes through my door, they’re going to feel the difference.

Health is a gift. What are we doing to steward it?

Just days after being in the ER, I’m moving again.

No makeup. Sweaty. Grateful to be outside moving my body.

Am I sprinting yet? No. Am I pushing beyond what my body is ready for? No. I’m using wisdom—but I’m moving.

And yes, I’m a believer. I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and the same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead lives in me. Romans 8:11

So I’m going to use what God has given me—with faith, gratitude, and wisdom.

You don’t have to do everything. Just do something.

Move your body.
Steward your health.
Have faith.
Use wisdom.
Be a Radical1.

Do you know WHY you’re doing the exercise?

Balance training isn’t just about standing on an unstable surface and trying not to fall.

I want my clients to understand what their body is doing. In this exercise, we’re working on active muscular control—not simply “hanging” on our joints or relying heavily on the TRX for support.

Once he was stable and safe, I guided him to decrease his hand support so his own postural muscles and balance system had to respond.

Understand it. Feel it. Then train it.

That’s the difference between simply doing an exercise and learning how to move your body well.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting this beautiful family today — Suzie and her daughters, Sadie and Dilia. What an incredible family and story.

After losing her husband to cancer, Suzie and her daughters turned an incredibly difficult chapter in their lives into something meaningful. Together, they create handmade soaps using organic, pure ingredients, with a focus on being more intentional about the products we use on our bodies and in our homes.

Suzie is also an Independent Associate with LegalShield, helping individuals, families, and small businesses gain affordable access to legal services — including legal advice, contract and document review, wills, powers of attorney, and more.

I loved hearing their story and learning about everything Suzie and her girls are doing. And of course, the girls had to have a little fun trying out the elliptical while visiting Radical1 Therapy! 😊

There is something very special about a family taking what they have walked through and using it to create something positive and help others.

Sometimes you don’t truly appreciate a great company until you need one.

A heartfelt thank you to Darlene and the entire team at Capstone Plumbing for taking such great care of Radical1 Therapy. As fellow Carefree Chamber members, Darlene made sure I was taken care of right away, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

A special shout-out to Brent Skaggs, who quickly identified that the plumbing issue was caused by a faulty installation—not just a simple repair. He took the time to explain everything, completed the work with exceptional skill and professionalism, and gave me confidence that the problem had finally been corrected the right way.
