We are pleased to announce the promotion of Zachary Jeffrey to Recovery Center Manager in Caribou. Jeffrey previously served as a Recovery Coach at the Aroostook Recovery Center of Hope (ARCH) in Houlton. In his new position, he will oversee operations at AMHC’s recovery centers in Caribou and Houlton.

AMHC’s peer recovery centers are free, welcoming spaces dedicated to helping individuals engage in and sustain the recovery process. Through mutual understanding, respect, and empowerment, the centers help reduce the likelihood of recurrence or a return to use. Jeffrey has demonstrated consistent dedication to AMHC’s mission, strong performance as a Recovery Coach, and a positive impact on the individuals and communities he serves.

Julia Macek, Program Director of Adult and Recovery Services, says, "His reliability, professionalism, and ability to maintain a steady, supportive presence have earned the trust of both colleagues and participants. This reflects his proven leadership qualities, commitment to continuous growth, and ongoing contributions to the success of AMHC and its recovery services programs. "

Throughout his more than three years with AMHC, he has demonstrated exceptional compassion, patience, and commitment to supporting individuals seeking recovery services. His welcoming and person-centered approach helps engage individuals who may be hesitant to take the next step in their recovery journey.
