CAH&C Power Outage Update:

12:33 PM - Power has been restored at Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics. We appreciate our patients, staff and community for their patience and understanding during the outage.

Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics is currently operating on generator power as our community experiences a widespread power outage.

We are in communication with Ameren as they work to address the outage. At this time, hospital operations are functioning at a limited capacity.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to maintain essential services and keep our patients safe. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.

Lunch Bunch provides free hot lunches to members of the Carlinville community throughout the summer.
And behind every lunch served is a team right here at Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics.
By the end of this summer, our Dietary team prepared 6,907 meals for Lunch Bunch, alongside the work they do every day at CAH+C. That’s thousands of meals planned and prepared to make sure members of our community have a hot lunch waiting.
We’re incredibly proud of our Dietary team for the time, work and care they put into making this possible, and proud to play a part in a community effort that brings people together to serve our neighbors.
Because caring for our community doesn’t stop at our doors.

Meet Ashley Simons, DNP, FNP-C
Ashley Simons believes great healthcare starts long before someone gets sick.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she's passionate about making primary care accessible and helping patients understand their health so they can make informed decisions for themselves and their families.
That mission brought Ashley back home. A Carlinville native, she returned to the community she loves to care for patients of all ages and give back in a meaningful way.
Ashley earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is certified to perform Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals.
Whether you're coming in for an annual checkup, managing an ongoing condition, or simply looking for a primary care provider you can trust, Ashley is here to help you stay healthy for every stage of life.

Meet Jessica!

Jessica lives in Chatham with her husband and their two sets of twins, so it’s safe to say she knows a thing or two about keeping up with busy families.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner at CAH&C’s Virden location, she provides care for patients of all ages, from preventive care and annual wellness visits to acute illnesses and DOT physicals. She earned her Master’s of Nursing from Maryville University after completing her undergraduate degree at Saint Louis University and is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

At Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics, we’re fortunate to have providers like Jessica who are committed to caring for our community with skill, compassion, and heart.
