This sweet Fjord gelding enjoyed his chiropractic adjustment, and a horse with a job as important as his is well deserving of a little TLC.
He works at The Children's TherAplay Foundation in Carmel, Indiana, where he helps provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy for children with disabilities through hippotherapy. Itโs incredible to see the difference these special horses make in the lives of so many children. โค๏ธ
The Fjord horse is an ancient and versatile Norwegian breed, admired for its strength, gentle temperament, and unmistakable appearance. Their beautiful dun coat, dark dorsal stripe, and signature upright mane make them easy to recognize. Stocky, strong, and incredibly kind, Fjords have long been used for riding, driving, and farm work. Their calm, patient nature also makes them exceptional partners for therapeutic riding programs, children, and beginner riders.
