Carlsbad Imaging Center is an outpatient diagnostic radiology facility in search of a CT Technologist. This job requires great knowledge in routine CT exams as well as CTA’s, CT virtual colonoscopies, CT cardiac calcium scores, diagnostic x-ray exams and Dexa’s. As the CT tech, you will also have to administer your own IVs for contrast exams. We can train on-site for our facilities routine x-ray and Dexa exams.
We require that you are ARRT certified and registered in CT.
We are a small office and all employees are important in contributing to the daily patient care. Teamwork is a major part of our small office. We are looking for a CT/x-ray/Dexa tech who is dedicated, on-time, accurate, friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible.
The work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. We are closed on the weekends as well as 6 paid holidays and some small bank holidays. Full time employees are eligible for health/medical benefits after 1 month employment. After 1,000 hours worked, employees are eligible for a matching 401k plan. There are 5 paid sick days a year and after 90 days of employment, you begin to accrue 1 week paid vacation per year. After 3 years, you begin to accrue 2 weeks paid vacation.
Job duties include, but are not limited to: performing diagnostic x-ray, Dexa, and CT exams, starting IV contrast for CT exams, data entry of patient history and demographics, QA equipment maintenance, ordering medical supplies for all imaging modalities and making sure exam rooms are well stocked, performing research exams, and working closely with the radiologist and your coworkers.
