Today Carlton Place had a Farm Harvest Party!
We had fried chicken, biscuits, mashed potatoes and gravy plus baked beans. We started with mocktails and appetizers!
The food was amazing!
We dressed up, played games and ended watching Hee Haw!

Friendship and fellowship are so important. It warms our heart when we see friends gathering around our table with our residents.

Yesterday, three of our residents, and their friends gathered together around a table. Anytime you went by you could see smiles, hear laughter, and know that there was so much joy.

If you have a friend or loved one in a care center, be sure to stop in and visit. You cannot imagine how important those visits are! If you can’t stop in, send a card to say that you are thinking of someone today!

Last Friday was a busy fun day at Inter-Faith!

We had such a fun craft day at Inter-Faith this beautiful fall day. Our residents made Jack-o-lanterns, ate treats and talked about old performers. We guessed if they were dead or alive, remembered their music and wondered at how some of them were touring. It was a wonderful afternoon!

Today Inter-Faith residents enjoyed the fruits of their labor! At 2:30 the residents packed our community to eat the yummy apple treats, listen to music and have great conversation.

Inter-Faith was a busy place this afternoon. In preparation for Apple Fest that we are having tomorrow we created several apple treats with our residents. Everyone helped peel apples, cut them and turn them into delicious treats that will be baked and served tomorrow. Apple crisp, apple pie bars, and fresh applesauce are all on the menu for tomorrow. Jim Witta will be performing Apple Fest music and all of us will be enjoying the sweet treats.
