🇺🇸 In Loving Memory of Wilbert V. Rolves 🇺🇸

With sadness, we announce the passing of Mr. Wilbert V. Rolves. Mr. Rolves proudly served in the United States Army, spending 18 months of his service as a prisoner of war in Germany.

Following his honorable discharge, Vince remained active in veterans organizations and became well known throughout our community. We extend our deepest gratitude for his service and sacrifice, and our sincere condolences to his family on his passing.

Here's another interesting mausoleum, and this one is right in our back yard, in St. Louis!
"A $5.3 million mystery is tucked beside a lake in one of Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum's quieter, less-visited corners.
Completed in 2022, the Cascade Mausoleum was Bellefontaine’s first new mausoleum in more than 70 years. It is massive, yet it contains space for only eight burials. All eight crypts were empty when the mausoleum opened. The family that commissioned it plans to remain anonymous until the first burial takes place. Until then, the building offers clues but no answer."

It has space for 8 crypts, and they are all unoccupied. Most of the monument is available for tours.
