If you’re a parent walking through PANS/PANDAS, hear this:

It’s not your fault.

You didn’t cause this. You didn’t fail your child. Sometimes people get sick, even when we’ve done everything “right.”

If you’re searching for answers and fighting for your child, you’re already doing what good parents do.

Give yourself some grace. ❤️

There is no one size fits all approach to PANS and PANDAS.

Families often need support in multiple ways, which is why we have worked to create resources that extend beyond the exam room.

From physician led care and educational resources to supplement support and trusted guidance, our goal is to help families better understand what is happening and feel less alone while navigating it.

If you are looking for support, resources, or next steps, call our office at (317) 989-8463.

Not all testing is good testing.

With the rise of specialty and direct-to-consumer labs, it’s important to know whether a test is actually accurate, reproducible, and clinically useful.

More data does not always mean better answers.

We’ve seen tests produce completely different results from the same sample, and others report findings that simply don’t match real-world clinical practice.

At our practice, we use vetted, CLIA-approved testing that gives reliable information we can actually interpret and act on for our patients.

The goal is not to chase fear.
It’s to get accurate answers that guide real care.

“Natural” does not always mean safe.

Supplements, herbals, and even common medications can interact with each other and create serious side effects, especially in children with complex conditions like PANS and PANDAS.

Just because something is over the counter does not mean it is harmless.

Always make sure the person recommending supplements or medications understands interactions, safety, and proper medical decision making.

A good rule of thumb in healthcare:
Always check the resume.

Just because someone sounds confident online does not mean they are qualified to guide medical decisions.

When evaluating health information online, ask:
• What formal medical training do they have?
• Are they licensed?
• Do they have clinical experience?
• Can they legally diagnose and treat patients?

There is a difference between influence and expertise.

Your family deserves evidence based care from properly trained professionals.

Messages like this never get old.

One of the greatest honors as a physician is not just helping families directly, but helping educate other providers so more children can receive thoughtful, evidence based care.

When a parent walks into anappointment carrying a highlighted, post it covered book because they were searching that deeply for answers, that matters.

And when it helps change the way a child is cared for, that matters even more.

The book is available worldwide through the link in my bio.

I am often asked where I am able to see patients.

My practice is based in the United States, and I am currently licensed in Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Indiana.

Patients begin with an in-person visit at our office in Carmel, IN, followed by telemedicine for ongoing care and support.

If you are outside of these states, there are still options. Many families use my book, The Comprehensive Physician’s Guide to the Management of PANS and PANDAS, alongside their local physician.

We are also working to expand access so more families can get the care they need.

That is the average time it takes for children with PANS and PANDAS to receive a diagnosis.

Years of questions. Years of searching.

Our role is to meet you where you are and help you move forward with clarity, support, and a plan.
