Happy ! Today’s “Why Wednesday” goes to… Courtney West! 🎉💜

Courtney is a Chronic Care Specialist at our Carmel Support Office and is inspired by A Space for Belonging.

As a Chronic Care Specialist, Courtney works closely with patients to help coordinate their care, support their health goals, and serve as a dedicated advocate throughout their healthcare journey. Through APC’s Chronic Care Management program, patients have access to a supportive healthcare team, personalized care plans, and ongoing guidance—and Courtney plays a huge role in making patients feel cared for every step of the way.

Courtney shared what she loves most about working at APC:
“I absolutely love interacting with my patients. Some patients reach out simply to talk when they are experiencing a difficult time, and hearing someone say that they just needed to hear my voice to feel uplifted consistently reminds me why I am passionate about this profession.”

She also shared how rewarding it is to support patients as they work toward their goals:
“Hearing a patient share that they are able to walk farther than they have in years is especially meaningful and reinforces the positive impact of my work.”

Courtney’s compassion and genuine care for others shine through in every interaction she has. She works incredibly hard to build meaningful relationships with her patients, making sure they feel heard, supported, and never alone through difficult moments. Her dedication, encouragement, and attention to detail make a lasting impact on so many lives.

Outside of work, Courtney is a proud mom of two sons, Dylan and Kendon, who keep her busy with graduation preparations, basketball, and soccer. Family is a huge part of her life, and her caring nature extends far beyond the workplace.

Amaya is a Medical Assistant at Center for Pain – Evansville and is inspired by Empathy in Everything We Do.

“Empathy in everything we do resonates with me the most because leading with empathy helps build trust with patients and creates a supportive, positive environment with my team.”

Amaya shared what she enjoys most about working at APC:
“What I enjoy most about working at APC is the people I work with every day. My coworkers bring a sense of teamwork and support that makes a real difference, especially during busy or challenging shifts. Everyone is willing to step in, share ideas, and help each other succeed, which creates a strong and positive work environment.”

Amaya is someone who truly leads with compassion in both her work and everyday life. She finds joy in helping others, caring for animals, and supporting the people around her. Family is at the center of everything she does, and she also enjoys expressing her creative side through art, spending time outdoors, and appreciating nature whenever she can 🌿

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom.

Our offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26.

Zoe is a Medical Assistant at Integrated Pain Solutions – Columbus and is inspired by Open Communication.

Since opening our doors, our team has been proud to provide patients with access to advanced interventional pain management treatments in a modern, patient-focused surgical environment. From minimally invasive procedures and injections to innovative therapies like spinal cord stimulation, Brownsburg ASC was built to help patients get back to living with less pain and more freedom.
