We’re excited to announce our 5th summer hosting Camp GOTR (Girls on the Run)!

For the past five summers, Camp GOTR has been one of our most loved programs and it’s easy to see why.

This camp is filled with friendship, confidence-building, creativity, movement, and fun for girls entering grades 3rd through 5th. Through engaging activities and meaningful connections, campers make new friends, discover their strengths, and build skills that help them thrive both now and in the future.

This unique camp is led by Megan, Owner of One Mind and Licensed Mental Health Therapist, who has been involved with the Girls on the Run movement for 20 years. From coaching in New York City, to leading programs in Chicago, and now bringing the experience to Indianapolis, Megan combines her passion for youth development and mental wellness to create a camp experience girls remember long after summer ends.

Parents, don’t wait! Camp GOTR reaches capacity every year, and spots are limited.

🎉 Happy Anniversary, TJ!

TJ first joined our team in 2022 when he moved to Indiana with his family from Chicago and we have been grateful ever since.

Over the years, TJ has become one of our most sought-after Occupational Therapists and not just because he offers Saturday appointments. It’s the incredible passion, creativity and energy he brings to every session. TJ has a unique talent for making skill-building practical, engaging and fun.

Whether he’s helping clients strengthen fine motor and executive functioning skills by making pizza bagel bites from scratch, or building gross motor skills through lacing up hockey pads and playing indoor hockey, TJ transforms therapy into an experience that feels more like play than work.

When you’re with TJ, you don’t even realize you’re at therapy. You simply know you’re growing into the best version of yourself.

Thank you, TJ, for the heart you bring to our team and the families we serve. We are so grateful for all that you do and hope this next year brings you continued success, happiness and fulfillment!

The teenage years can often look like distance…

🤍 Less talking
🤍 More independence
🤍 Less time at home
🤍 More time with friends

But beneath it all, the need for connection and belonging is still there. It just shows up differently than it did when they were younger.

Supporting your teen during this stage can feel confusing, frustrating, and sometimes even heartbreaking.

The good news? You don't have to navigate it alone.

At One Mind, we believe in being a true partner in parenting. If this season feels unfamiliar, challenging, or overwhelming, we're here to help you strengthen connection, improve communication, and build a relationship that grows alongside your teen.

Happy Birthday to our owner, founder, and fearless leader, Megan!

What began in 2012 as a solo therapy practice (formerly Mini Minds, now One Mind) has grown into something truly extraordinary.

As a child therapist, Megan saw firsthand how difficult it was for families to navigate care across multiple providers, schools, and schedules. She knew there had to be a better way. From that vision, One Mind was born: a collaborative, multidisciplinary practice designed to bring providers together under one roof to better serve children and families.

In 2017, One Mind expanded beyond mental health therapy to include speech and occupational therapy, and the community immediately embraced the innovative model. Since then, our impact has continued to grow across Central Indiana with locations in Carmel, Broad Ripple, and Fishers — our signature triangle of care and connection.

Today, One Mind offers support across mental health, occupational, speech and feeding therapy, nutrition and wellness, and medication management. What started as a practice focused on toddlers and elementary-aged children now serves children, adolescents, teens, young adults, and their parents and caregivers.

And perhaps what we’re most proud of: earlier this year, Megan helped launch the One Mind Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to social emotional wellness programs and other meaningful initiatives for our community.

Megan, thank you for your vision, passion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to helping families thrive. Wishing you another wonderful trip around the sun. We can’t wait to see what you and our incredible team accomplish next!

✨ Team collaboration in action at One Mind!

Our Occupational Therapists Alise, Kasey, and Stacey led an incredible professional development presentation for our multidisciplinary team on the importance of primitive reflex integration and why it matters across disciplines.

Primitive reflexes play a foundational role in early development. When retained beyond infancy, they can impact regulation, motor coordination, attention, speech and language development, emotional processing, sensory integration, feeding, and learning readiness.

By identifying and addressing these reflexes early in infants, toddlers, and young children, we can better support nervous system development and help children build the skills needed to thrive at home, in school, and in everyday life.

One of the things that makes One Mind unique is our commitment to collaboration. Every Wednesday, our multidisciplinary team of 35 providers across 3 locations comes together to connect, communicate, and collaborate on the best solutions for the families we serve.

We also love opening these professional development opportunities to providers and referral sources in our local community. If you’d like the opportunity to join us at our Carmel location on a Wednesday from 12–1 PM to meet our team, share your expertise, and explore ways we can collaborate and share referrals, contact [email protected] today to coordinate.

📅 We are currently booking guest professional development opportunities for late 2026 and early 2027.

Our Leadership Team took the evening to celebrate the incredible growth and impact of One Mind!

These seven ladies are truly the heart behind the scenes, dedicated to supporting our therapists through clinical supervision, professional development, and ongoing case consultation so that every family receives a customized approach to their care. Their commitment to collaboration and quality is what allows our multidisciplinary team to thrive.

At One Mind, families are never viewed as “just a number” or simply an open time slot to fill. Our leadership team personally speaks with every family to understand their concerns, challenges, and goals before thoughtfully matching them with the therapist best suited to support their unique journey. They go above and beyond, alongside our clinicians, to ensure each family receives exactly what they need with compassion, intentionality, and care.

Because we walk alongside families through every age and every stage, our leadership team often serves as an ongoing touchpoint throughout a family’s journey, continually helping adjust support and services to create the meaningful change families hope to see.

We believe in being a true partner in parenting and this team is the glue that holds this practice together and the shine that helps all of us glow a little brighter.

We are endlessly grateful for their unwavering commitment to the communities we are honored to serve!

Mornings should feel manageable…

But when getting out the door feels like a daily battle, it is often a sign that something deeper may be going on.

Things like planning, emotional regulation, sensory processing, attention, transitions and coordination all play a role in helping children move through routines successfully. When one piece feels off, even simple mornings can quickly become overwhelming for the entire family.

At One Mind, we help families look beyond the surface behaviors to better understand the “why” behind the struggle. Together, we create practical strategies and supportive systems that help daily routines feel calmer, smoother, and more connected.

You do not have to keep guessing your way through it. Reach out to [email protected] to learn how we can help!
