Out on the road and bringing care with him!

Meet Gary, one of our dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) at Amari Home Health and Hospice.

Our LVNs play an important role in caring for patients—providing hands-on clinical support, monitoring changes in their condition, helping manage symptoms, and working closely with the rest of the care team to make sure each patient receives the care they need.

But sometimes, the most meaningful part of a visit is simply showing up with a kind smile, a listening ear, and a little sunshine during a difficult time.

We’re grateful to have Gary out in the community, bringing both skilled care and compassion to the patients and families we serve. ☀️💙

Meet Tonya and Megan, our LVN case managers on the clinical support hospice team.

Their role is all about helping patients and families navigate the healthcare journey. They provide guidance, support, and coordination along the way. They help make sure questions are answered, needs are addressed, and patients, and families feel supported through every step.

We’re grateful for the compassion and dedication they bring to our patients and families every day.

While the work behind the scenes is an important part of what keeps our care running smoothly, MacArthur, our bereavement, especially values the time he gets to spend with patients and families in the field.

From being at the bedside to documenting updates and care plans, every visit is an opportunity to listen, connect, and make sure our patients receive thoughtful, compassionate support.

It’s the human connection that makes this work so meaningful and we’re grateful to have MacArthur bringing that compassion to the people and families we serve. 💙

Every week, our hospice team comes together to check in on our patients and families, share updates, and make sure everyone’s needs are being met. 💙

Hospice care takes a team. Our nurses, social workers, spiritual care providers, bereavement coordinators, and support staff each bring an important perspective to the table.

And, of course, we can’t forget the fun treats that make our meetings a little sweeter! 🍪☕️

If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Tori yet, you can expect to find her bringing a little extra joy, warmth, and light wherever she goes. She’s there to provide skilled care, answer questions, offer support, and most importantly, remind our patients and families that they don’t have to navigate their healthcare journey alone.

We’re so grateful to have Tori on the Amari Hospice team, and we love getting to see that smile out in the community! 😊

Events like these are about so much more than sharing information. They give us the opportunity to build relationships, exchange valuable resources, and stay connected with the people and organizations working together to improve the health and well-being of our community.

Healthcare is strongest when we collaborate. By staying engaged, learning from one another, and sharing resources, we can help ensure patients and families have access to the support they need when they need it most.
