Update: we are looking for photos of Samuel Hathaway, Mary Jane Horner Hathaway, Velma Rogers Cook, and Ella Mary Jolliff Hathaway. If you happen to have any photos, can you share them with us?

Just being curious, are there any of you on here that are related to the Horner, Hathaway, and Rogers families of Carmichaels dating back to the 1850s? If so, please let us know.

The mailbox was donated by Kim Grimes. Kim's grandmother, Irene Kachersky, lived in the house for many years and Kim felt it needed to come back home. Lew said it was the easiest work he has done on the Olde Mill House so far. Two screws in the same holes.

Found this article from 1933 and couldn't believe that I (Helen) had some of these teachers. A few of the teachers were not married in 1933 - Bernice Riley (Feather), Opal Gulentz (Murphy), Evelyn Barclay (Funk), Genevieve Price (Ross). Do you remember some of the teachers?

We have been contacted by John Jacobs to see if we knew of a cabin in Greene county that could be used for a film about the 250th celebration. Unfortunately, we don't know of any. Perhaps someone in this group can help John out.

Here's the request.

Helen, this is John Jacobs. Helen, I was wanting to know if you could check on something or if you might know of a old cabin anywhere around Greene County that would be available to have a film made inside of it. It’s for the 250 celebration toward the fair. It would take approximately at the most eight hours, and the only thing we would need access to is just the cabin it inside of the cabinet itself that would have wooden wall walls. If you know of anything like that or you can think of anybody that I might speak with could you send me a message back. Thank you very much.
