Change may not start out as this big achievement or big undertaking. Sometimes change starts with just trying to do things differently, like trying to set your alarm a few minutes earlier or trying to talk about the things that are happening in your life, even when it’s uncomfortable. Change happens from a series of small steps and every day decisions that we decide to do differently, not usually all at once.

You’re changing, even when it doesn’t seem like it. I hope you take a moment to celebrate the things you’re doing differently now.

Big fan of changing your story and changing your mind. You’re allowed to be different, you’re allowed to approach life different, you can live in different places and have different friends than you did before. You can think different thoughts and like different things. You can tell a new story about yourself and who you want to be — you can change. 🧡

The art isn’t in knowing what to do with every person I meet, the art is knowing what tools could be helpful to support that person’s story or goals.

Counseling is an art. It exists outside of absolutions and inside the science of why it can work. All of these tools go no where without a relationship, the relationship is the canvas to create!
