Meet HPCC's September Certificant of the Month: Nicole Loving, DNP, AGPCNP-BC, ACHPN®, AOCNP!

Nicole, who was both a member and chair of the HPCC ACHPN® Exam Development Committee, shared how certification has impacted her both personally and professionally: "Obtaining and maintaining HPCC certification is an important signifier of my commitment to remaining up to date on the knowledge and practices within our field. Professionally, the certification speaks to my role as a subject matter expert, indicating to my colleagues and the learners I work with that I am well-prepared to address complex clinical questions. Finally, my HPCC certification signals that I am a member of an important and essential community of advanced practice providers moving our field forward."

Nicole is currently a Advanced Practice Provider, Palliative Care at Fred Hutch Cancer Center.

Meet Shannon Cooper, RN, BSN, MPH, CHPN® the Chief Operating Officer at Treasure Health and a proud CHPN®. Shannon was recently featured in the article "Treasure Coast Hospice launches new website to make Hospice referrals easier."

When asked about the personal and professional impact of HPCC certification, Shannon shared:

"Earning my CHPN® certification strengthened both my knowledge and my confidence as a hospice professional. It challenged me to deepen my understanding of what excellent end-of-life care truly looks like and reinforced my commitment to this work.
