It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the Kiowa Tribe Enrollment Office announces the passing of our oldest living tribal member, Ms. Mattie Botone.

At 101 years old, Ms. Botone was a beloved treasure to the Kiowa people. We recently celebrated her historic milestone, and today we join her family, friends, and the entire community in mourning this great loss. Her long life was a blessing, and her legacy will always be remembered as part of our tribal history. We ask that everyone please keep the Botone family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Daw'Kxee's (God's) blessings to all.
