Can you tell the difference between how the two glasses sit on her face?
The answer is the tilt towards the face! In the top photo, her glasses sit at an angle, while in the bottom photo, they sit straight and vertical.
This highlights the importance of properly fitting progressive glasses. The tilt towards the face allows the natural downward gaze to look through the center of the reading zone in the lens. Without that tilt, there was distortion in her vision—like looking underwater—mostly in her mid-distance and reading sections.
