If you have driven past Lakeshore Park recently, you already know: Carrollton has been taken over by the pickleball craze. Combined with the daily rush of runners, cyclists, and walkers logging miles on the paved Carrollton GreenBelt, West Georgia residents are staying more active than ever.

And unfortunately, that means more overuse injuries. When ice and rest fail to work, active adults are turning to an advanced regenerative treatment to stay in the game: Radial Pulse Shockwave Therapy. In this blog, Carrollton Foot Center explains how this FDA-cleared technology works…and why it is replacing traditional treatments! https://tinyurl.com/3neddzsj

Of all the places you want to lose a little fat, the bottom of your feet definitely isn't one of them. 🦶📉

Between pacing the floor with a teething baby, stepping on rogue Legos, and running the endless weekend soccer carpool, your feet take a massive beating. If it suddenly feels like you are walking directly on your bones, you aren't imagining things—you are likely dealing with fat pad atrophy.

Yes, you can actually wear down the natural fat cushioning on the bottom of your feet. But unlike your patience, we can actually restore it.

Enter Leneva, a breakthrough, FDA-cleared fat pad injection that naturally restores the cushion to your heels and the balls of your feet. It treats painful corns, calluses, and structural foot pain from the inside out, all without invasive surgery or putting you in a cast.

You have enough running around to do. Stop walking on bare bone and let us add a little cushion back to your step! Contact our office to see if Leneva is right for you: https://www.carrolltonfeet.com/contact-us/

Your ankle sprain felt better…so why does it still swell?

Maybe the worst of the pain is gone, but your ankle still looks puffy after a long day, feels sore after activity, or doesn’t feel quite as stable as it used to.

Lingering swelling, pain, or weakness can be a sign that the ankle hasn’t fully recovered from the original injury. And if you return to normal activity too quickly, you may be more likely to aggravate it or sprain it again.

If your ankle still doesn’t feel back to normal, it may be time to have it checked rather than continuing to wait it out.
