They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and our crew certainly took that to heart! We’re lucky to have a Medical Director who is not only respected but adored by his team! ❤️

🚨🩺 WE ARE CCMH WEDNESDAY | EMERGENCY NURSES DAY 🩺🚨

You may have seen a soft introduction of our newest RN earlier this week, but today, in honor of Emergency Nurses Day, we’re giving Ashton a proper welcome to the world of emergency nursing! ❤️

Ashton came to us with a goal. She knew where she wanted to be when she finished nursing school, and she was determined to make it happen. Fast forward and here she is, exactly where she set out to be!

Beyond her determination, Ashton brings something incredibly important to this profession: a genuine heart for caring for others. Her compassion, kindness, and willingness to learn are qualities that will serve her well as she begins this next chapter.

Emergency nursing is not for the faint of heart.

It takes a special kind of person to walk into the unknown every shift. To think critically under pressure, make decisions when seconds matter, and remain calm when everything around you is chaos.

Emergency nurses understand that in someone’s most critical moment, their knowledge, quick thinking, and actions can make all the difference in a patient’s outcome. They recognize the weight of that responsibility and the importance of being prepared to act when every second counts.

It requires strength, adaptability, and resilience. The ability to transition from fighting to save a life in one room to holding the hand of someone frightened in the next. Emergency nurses witness heartbreak and tragedy, but also resilience, and moments that remind them why they chose this profession. The technical skills can be taught. Experience builds confidence. Time sharpens clinical judgment.

Ashton is beginning a journey that will challenge her, strengthen her, and shape the nurse she becomes. And she has an entire team of emergency professionals ready to support her along the way.

Happy Emergency Nurses Day to Ashton and all the incredible emergency nurses who embrace the unexpected and show up for their communities when they need them most!

🎉🩺 CONGRATULATIONS, ASHTON, RN! 🩺🎉

We are so excited to celebrate our newest Registered Nurse, Ashton! ❤️

While still in nursing school, she had already set her sights on emergency nursing, with a very specific goal in mind: to serve her hometown community right here at Carroll County Memorial Hospital!

Ashton joined our Emergency Department team as an ER Tech while working her way through nursing school, gaining experience and working toward the career she had envisioned.

Today, we are proud to announce that she has officially completed her nursing program, PASSED HER NCLEX, and earned her seat as our newest full-time Emergency Department RN! 🚑❤️

There is something special about watching someone set a goal, put in the work, and achieve it right here alongside us.

We couldn’t be more excited to watch her continue to learn, grow, and develop into the emergency nurse she has worked so hard to become!

Congratulations, Ashton! Your CCMH ER family is so proud of you! 🎓🩺❤️

We are so proud to see our staff continue to grow, evolve, and take on new opportunities. We’re even happier that our department still gets to work alongside Allie!

Even in her new role, she is always willing to jump in and lend us a hand whenever she has a free moment. We’re grateful to have her as part of the CCMH team and love getting to watch her continue to grow! 💙
