Our Vehicles of Change were on the road supporting the 2026 Northern Nevada Giant Student Farmers Market 🌱💚

We were honored to be part of such an inspiring event celebrating local students, creativity, and healthy living. This year, 14 schools participated, with 115 students proudly showcasing and selling hydroponically and garden-grown produce, along with handmade crafts, to the Carson City community. 👏

Thank you to the organizers, teachers, students, and partners who helped make this event such a meaningful success. Watching students learn, grow, and share their hard work was truly incredible.

Today, on 529 Day, every baby born at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center will receive a special 529 Day gift basket, including a $529 contribution toward a Nevada 529 college savings account to help support their future from day one.

This marks the second year of this special partnership, and we are incredibly grateful to the Nevada State Treasurer’s Office for helping make this meaningful surprise possible for our families and newest community members.

Through Healing Our Kids & Community, we are investing in prevention-focused programs like Vehicles of Change, bringing emotional wellness support directly into schools, neighborhoods, and community spaces across Northern Nevada.

Through hands-on activities, breathing techniques, teamwork, creativity, and connection, we are helping youth build resilience, confidence, and emotional wellness skills in spaces where they feel safe, supported, and empowered to be themselves.

In partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada, we’ve already delivered more than 1,344 hours of programming and impacted approximately 400 youth across Carson City and Douglas County, with expansion already underway into Lyon County rural communities.
