Last night reminded me why I started Age Well Happy Hour. 💜

Yes, we learned about caring for tired, puffy eyes. Everyone went home with eye capsules, a skincare spatula, and practical tips they can start using right away.

We even brought this week's blog to life by trying the techniques together. But as wonderful as that was, my favorite part wasn't the skincare. It was the conversations.

As the evening came to a close, no one seemed ready to leave. Women lingered, laughed, shared stories, and simply enjoyed being together.

Sometimes, we don't realize how much we need connection until we slow down long enough to experience it. To me, that's part of aging well.

I was sooo disciplined at Barnes & Noble yesterday. I read a snippet of Yesteryear and loved it. 💜 But I decided not to spend the money.

Well.... I came to my hangout spot to read my Christmas (in july) 🎄book. Daughter's reading The Illiad (again) and hubby is coloring.

I didn't expect vendors today. 🤦🏾‍♀️ When I saw Yesteryear book truck, I thought it was a sign. So.... I had to get it, right? 😁

Sometimes, self-care begins with something as simple as deciding how you want to feel.

Last night, we kicked off our Age Well Happy Hour Summer Series with a little Christmas in July fun, meaningful conversations, and a reminder that taking care of ourselves isn't selfish—it's necessary.

Each guest left with a little gingerbread friend as a reminder to make time for herself this week. ❤️

Last night we kicked off our Age Well Happy Hour Summer Series with a little Christmas in July fun... and so much more. 🎄☀️
We laughed, connected, and took time to think about how we want to feel by the end of summer.

That reminded everyone that aging well isn't just about skincare. It's about making time for yourself, building meaningful connections, and choosing habits that help you become the woman you want to be.
