The Cartersville Globetrotters are ready for all the fun, excitement, and adventures Japan has to offer! 🗻🌸🎎

We kicked off our journey with a delicious Taste of Japan at Okinawa 🍣🥢—and what a great way to start!

Our bags are unpacked, our passports are stamped, and we’re ready to explore! ❤️🇯🇵

🇫🇷 Au Revoir, France! 🇫🇷

Today brought even more French fashion and biking fun! 👒🚲🇫🇷 We’ve certainly made the most of every minute of our French adventure!

For our final meal in France, Miline and Eunice from our amazing Dietary Department treated us to some delicious French-inspired culinary delights! ❤️👩‍🍳 They prepared quiche, roasted asparagus, and roasted potatoes—and it was absolutely delicious!

After all the sightseeing, fashion, food, biking, and fun, these Globetrotters are ready for some much-needed rest! 😴🧳

France, you were magnifique! 🇫🇷❤️ But our passports aren’t getting a break just yet…

🇫🇷 Bonjour from France! 🇫🇷

Saturday was officially a “sightsee a little, snack a lot, and take it easy” kind of day! 😂

🎨 We broke out the acrylic paints and created some of our favorite sights and memories from France so far. Let’s just say…we may have a few future French artists in the group! 👩‍🎨🖼️

Then came the really important part of the day — the food and wine! 🍷🥐🍫
We enjoyed French red wine, croissants covered in creamy chocolate-hazelnut goodness, and delicious dark chocolates from France. Calories do not count when you’re “traveling,” right?! 😉

We also visited Normandy and the surrounding region, enjoyed a real-time walking tour of France, and learned some new French words. By the end of the day, we were practically fluent… well, at least enough to say bonjour, merci, and pass the chocolate! 😂🇫🇷

We finished things off with some French trivia and games to see just how much we’ve learned along the way.

France continues to spoil us with beautiful sights, wonderful memories, delicious treats, and lots of laughter!

Au revoir for now…we need to rest up for our next adventure! ✈️🌍❤️

🌎❤️ While we’ve been busy touring the world, some pretty GREAT things have been happening right here at Manor Lake Cartersville! ❤️🌎

We want to give a BIG shout-out to Betty, our Traveler of the Week! 🧳✈️ Betty has even given up some family activities so she could participate in our Around the World Travel Series! Now THAT is dedication! 😂💕 Betty, we are so glad you’ve been along for the adventure!

A huge THANK YOU to Susan for so generously donating bird baths for our gardens! 🐦🌸 We appreciate you so much—and we’re pretty sure the birds do too! 💕🐦

And lastly, but certainly not least, a very special shout-out to our amazing Dietary Staff! 👏❤️ Thank you for helping us make our travels extra special with all the fancy foods, treats, and goodies from around the world—and for always keeping an eye out for our one and only Happy! 😊

Please know that all the extra things you do NEVER go unnoticed. It truly takes a village to make all of these adventures possible, and we have the BEST village around!

🇫🇷 Bonjour from France! 🇫🇷

Today our Cartersville Globetrotters enjoyed a delicious brunch at Douceur de France in Kennesaw—and the food was absolutely amazing! 🥐☕️❤️

Our adventures continued as we explored Normandy and the surrounding region, then enjoyed a real-time walking tour through beautiful France. We learned some new French words, tested our knowledge with French trivia, and had lots of laughs along the way! 🇫🇷

Of course, we couldn’t visit France without a little Parisian fashion! 👒☂️ We brought out our fashionable hats and umbrellas and enjoyed pretending we were strolling the stylish streets of Paris!

What a fun-filled day of food, culture, fashion, learning, and laughter! ❤️

Wow… do we need some rest this evening! 😴
But not for long—more travels tomorrow! ✈️🌍

What an incredible stop on our Globetrotters adventure…France, we have arrived! 🇫🇷

We started the day early with delicious French toast by Bob Peek—thank you to the dietary staff for your help!

From breathtaking sights and charming streets to ham-and-cheese croissants, every moment has been a delight. We also shared stories of past travels to this beautiful country.

After it all…this might be our favorite country yet! ❤️🇫🇷

France has truly stolen our hearts.
