Our first big group outing to the Tennessee Aquarium was one for the books! We laughed, sang, and danced on the drive up and back, had a picnic for lunch, and had a blast seeing the exhibits and completing an aquarium scavenger hunt! We had an all around wonderful day and can't wait for our next trip coming up!

A HUGE thank you to our volunteers--Lisa McKeegan and our honorary grandpa-Grandpa Ken--we are so blessed and thankful for you!

Our wonderful week was topped off by another fabulous Friday!

Our friend Catherine returned to us today after her stay in Florida and everyone was so happy to have her back!

Our two sports enthusiasts were dressed in their Georgia gear for national college colors days and have already kicked off college football watching!

Next week we add a new friend, take our first BIG field trip and have so many fun things planned for the future. If you haven't already come to check us out, what are you waiting for?!

When planning Soaring Hearts, I did a lot of research and had some great help from many people. One of the biggest helpers I had was Paige Reid from Limitless Disability Services-Woodstock. We are so proud of them as they opened their new space.

Other programs aren't competition--they hold us accountable, help us see potential that we may not, and help guide us. Limitless began humbly as we have and has grown as we hope to do! We love seeing other programs serve the same populations and truly serving those in their programs.

Thank you Paige and Limitless Disability Services-Woodstock for being amazing and all you have done for us and for those you serve!

Happy Monday and happy last day of August!! We are excited for the arrival of fall and cooler temps, but also the trips we have planned coming up! First, we will be going to the Tennessee Aquarium next week and then to the Atlanta Zoo in October!

We are so ready for new adventures! Who wants to join us? Send us your referrals and let them be part of our fun!

When I started planning Soaring Hearts, I knew we wanted to treat our individuals as the adults they are. When our clients started arriving, 2 of them so far have loved Bluey - so we have some Bluey themed items-games, placemats, etc., for them to use. When another arrived and we found out they love Barney, well we had to get something Barney related.

What I wasn't expecting was for ALL of our participants to have a special love for the big purple dinosaur. He has now found a home at Soaring Hearts, where he is welcomed and even has his own cardio drum!
