Last Wednesday’s meeting was very eventful when it came to the number and amount of losses for the week. Some are Working with the Mediterranean diet…testing the waters…seems to be very effective. Also, gluten free choices.

Another good day at the chapter meeting!

Many of us worked with the Mediterranean Diet over the past week and were met with positive results. Many small weight losses, which is, whether we like it or not, the actual way to lose weight. Too fast and it quickly comes back! Slow means we’re doing it right and, hopefully for good!
Also note the different names each week. This indicates the entire chapter is working it…not just a chosen few. We remind ourselves…WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHER AND TOGETHER WE WILL WIN! 🥇

Cindy was awarded a certificate for losing 42.8 lbs. since joining! Great job, Cindy…keep it up…or off, in your case!

We were joined by Registered Dietitian-nutritionist, Shane Dudley, from the Cooperative Extension to discuss dietary nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices. It was a very informative session, as we were enlightened into some food facts and given helpful insights to use throughout our journey of weight loss and maintenance.

Everyone left with a renewed sense of purpose to live this healthy lifestyle while still enjoying life.
