💙 A new chapter begins at Panola County Nursing & Rehabilitation. 💙

Today, we are honored to celebrate someone whose journey is a true example of dedication, compassion, and perseverance.

Please join us in congratulating Kelsea Bushiey on becoming our new Director of Nursing!

Kelsea’s story is one of hard work and heart. More than 10 years ago, she began her journey at PCNR as a bedside caregiver, pouring her heart into the residents she served each day. Through countless hours of learning, growing, and leading by example, she continued to advance her career while never losing sight of what matters most—the people she cares for.

Every role she has held has prepared her for this moment. Her kindness, determination, and unwavering commitment to our residents and staff have earned the respect of everyone who has had the privilege of working alongside her.

At PCNR, we believe the best leaders are those who never forget where they started. Kelsea’s journey from the bedside to Director of Nursing is a testament to what passion, perseverance, and a servant’s heart can accomplish.

We are incredibly proud to call her our Director of Nursing and excited for the future of PCNR under her leadership. We know she will continue to inspire those around her while ensuring our residents receive the compassionate, quality care they deserve.

Some goodbyes are harder than others… and today is one of those days.

Today, an era came to an end at Panola County Nursing & Rehabilitation as we said goodbye to our Director of Nursing, Tonya Antley.

It is difficult to put into words what Tonya has meant to our facility. She has been more than a Director of Nursing—she has been a leader, a mentor, a teacher, an advocate, and a friend. She has celebrated victories with us, carried us through challenges, and never stopped fighting for what was best for our residents and our staff.

The compassion she has shown, the countless hours she has dedicated, and the lives she has touched cannot be measured. Her influence will forever be woven into the halls of PCNR, into the hearts of those she cared for, and into the team she helped build. Because of Tonya, our residents were loved, our staff was supported, and our facility became stronger.

While we are heartbroken to see this chapter come to an end, we know that her legacy will continue long after today. The lessons she taught, the standards she set, and the kindness she shared will remain a part of who we are.

Tonya, thank you for every early morning, every late night, every encouraging word, every difficult decision, every hug, every prayer, and every moment you poured your heart into this place. Thank you for believing in us, leading us, and loving this facility as if it were your own.

You may be leaving your office at PCNR, but you will never leave our hearts. Once you’re family, you’re always family.

From every resident, every family member, and every employee whose life you’ve touched—thank you. We love you, we will miss you more than words can express, and we pray that God richly blesses you as you begin this next chapter.
