There is a lot of scrutiny surrounding ABA therapy and we want you to know that we agree with changes being needed BUT they have to be in line with standards of care. Here is some information that is being released. We need to keep advocating.

A life, not just an existence. This was one of the most powerful statements made today. Also this was shared using an AAC device, showing she is ensuring she has a life and is capable.

Attending the 2026 I/DD Legislative Caucus. The stories are enlightening, sad, inspiring, and so much more. We can do better for our community of those with disabilities and Medicaid coverage. HB 696 affects many of us directly. If you have not heard of this bill that passed this week, please look it up. We have to advocate. Not all the changes proposed are bad, there is a need for reform. It has to be thoughtful in its approach and remember that this is a human field, not a numbers field.
