✨ Spotlight Pose: Wild Thing Pose (Chamatkarasana) ✨
This pose stretches the chest, shoulders, back, and throat while strengthening and opening the hips, hip flexors, and thighs.
🔸 How to practice:
1. Begin in Downward Facing Dog. Inhale and lift your right leg straight up into Three Legged Dog.
2. Exhale, bend your right knee, and stack your right hip over your left hip.
3. Shift your weight forward into your right hand and roll onto the outer edge of your left foot.
4.Gently place the ball of your right foot on the floor behind you while keeping your right knee bent and your left leg straight.
5. Press firmly into the floor with your left hand, engage your glutes, and lift your hips and chest toward the ceiling.
6. Reach your right arm up and overhead toward the front of the room, open your chest, and gaze toward the ceiling. Hold the pose for 3 to 5 breaths.
7. To release, lower your gaze, unwind your body back into Side Plank, then place your right hand on the mat and return to a standard High Plank.
