Mentorship matters more than you think.

Critical thinking is the biggest thing I see missing from many training programs- PT, Pilates and more.

You learn the system. You learn the textbook answers. You learn the current research. You’ve had training hours.

But you still lack the skill set of navigating a client with a complex case or who isn’t responding the way you’d expect.

Or maybe you learned the skills “well enough” but don’t feel confident in your day to day repetition.

“Fake it till ya make it” only works for so long. When it doesn’t, what now?

I’ve been trying to put words to this for a while.

A lot of people I talk to already know a lot. They’ve gone through PT school or Pilates training. They understand the basics, the movements, the cues.

But things still don’t fully connect.

💡 What connects one movement to the next?
💡 What actually links what you’re seeing to what you choose to do about it?
💡 Why does something work in one case and not another?

That’s usually where people get stuck.

❌ Not a course.
❌ Not another system.
❌ Not more information.

✅ Just a space to bring cases, questions, or things you’re trying to understand better—and actually work through them.

I’m opening a small number of 1:1 mentorship spots for clinicians and instructors who want to go deeper into clinical thinking, movement understanding, and problem solving.

I’ll be keeping it intentionally small.

Stuck at a desk all day? Don’t ignore your feet!

👉🏼 Grab your SoleMate, a book or a small block

👉🏼 Heels on, slowly lift toes towards shins and lower back down. Avoid letting feet drift outward if you can! That Anterior Tibialis (shin) muscle will start to wake up.

👉🏼 Ball of foot on, press firmly into ball of big toe to raise your heels. Think of pushing down more than lifting up to really engage your Soleus.

👉🏼 10-20 reps each a couple times during the day keeps blood flow moving, wakes up muscles needed for walking and helps to get the 🧠 synapses firing a little faster!
