👁️🎃 Thinking about adding spooky contact lenses to your Halloween look? Here’s a scary fact: costume contacts that aren’t prescribed by an eye doctor can cause serious eye damage.

Infections, corneal scratches, allergic reactions, and even vision loss can happen when lenses are bought from unregulated sources (yes, even those “one-size-fits-all” ones online).

If you want to safely elevate your costume, talk to your optometrist first. We can help you find fun and safe options for your eyes, because nothing ruins Halloween faster than an eye infection. 👀

Keep your eyes healthy this spooky season! 👻

World Sight Day is a reminder that clear vision can change a life. 👁️💙

This year, Dr. Schoepke and Jeanne had the opportunity to be part of the iCARE Turks & Caicos 2026 mission trip, and what an incredible week it was.

Over five days, the team served a record-breaking 4,815 patients. That included 1,010 health screenings with education, 122 SLT laser procedures, 13 PRP laser procedures, 159 prescription glasses distributed on site, and 709 custom prescription glasses that will be made for patients.

And that’s not even counting all the readers and sunglasses that were provided.

Behind every number is a person who can see a little more clearly, access care they may not otherwise have had, or simply learn more about protecting their health and vision.

We’re so proud of Dr. Schoepke and Jeanne for being part of this incredible team and grateful for the opportunity to help make a difference beyond our own community.

Happy World Sight Day! 🌎👓

Your eyes are pretty amazing. They’re also pretty easy to take for granted. 👀

October is Eye Injury Prevention Month, which makes it a good time for a quick reminder that a few simple habits can go a long way toward protecting your vision.

Whether you’re working on a project, handling chemicals, spending time outside or doing something as simple as mowing the lawn, think about your eyes before you get started. A little protection now can help prevent a much bigger problem later.

And if you do experience an eye injury, don’t wait it out. When it comes to your eyes, it’s always better to get it checked. 💙

We’re celebrating 14 years with our amazing optician, Mary! 🎉

Mary is one of those people who just makes a place better. She’s warm, kind, always willing to help, and has a way of making both patients and coworkers feel comfortable the minute they’re around her.

She’s spent 14 years taking care of our patients as an optician, but it’s the little things, the laughs, the conversations and the way she treats people that make her such a special part of our team.

Happy 14th anniversary, Mary! We’re so glad you’re here. 💙👓
