Every review is a reminder that healing happens one conversation at a time. ✨

I’m incredibly grateful to the clients who trust me with their stories and took the time to share their experiences. Your kind words about feeling heard, supported, and cared for mean more than you know.

If you’ve been considering therapy, let this be your reminder that you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Whether you’re working through anxiety, burnout, relationship concerns, trauma, or simply want a space to grow, I’d be honored to support your journey.

My Whimsy Girl Summer mission has had my calendar marvelously colorful with equal parts healing and adventure. 🌊☀️🏖️🥰

Between an incredible girls’ beach day yesterday and rapping my voice out at the J. Cole concert last weekend 🤣, I’m realizing how many wonderful memories I would miss out on if I only permitted my energy to be used on responsibility (like I did most of the past 2 summers 😪). Although every time the day of the plan arrives I’ve had to give myself a full pep talk and hype woman soliloquy, without fail I’m grateful for the experience and reminded how much I NEEDED the side quests. 💓

Side Note: I’ve been told by many clients that I’m the hype woman in their heads when they find themselves about to slip into old habits that no longer serve them, so yay for practicing what I rap 😎 I mean preach lol. 🔥

A quiet flex: staying focused on your goals and healing journey. Protecting your peace, keeping your therapy appointments, drinking your water, and staying committed to your vision no matter what? Nothing shines brighter💡✨

The timeline may not clap when you’re journaling through grief, setting boundaries, breaking generational cycles, or choosing rest over burnout—but trust me, that’s the kind of investment that pays dividends.

Some of us are spending less on self-sabotage and more on emotional wellness these days. 💅🏾

Because healing isn’t just self-care. It’s strategy.

And if you’re looking for a place to start, Restoring My Radiance: A 30-Day Guided Journal for Self-Care was created to help you slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself—one page at a time. 📖✨

The greatest gift I’ve given myself this year is permission to linger.

We live in a culture that moves incredibly fast. Between endless scrolling, inflation stretching our attention and our finances, packed schedules, and the pressure to constantly produce, it’s easy for beautiful moments to become just another photo forgotten in our camera roll. We experience life, post about it, and immediately move on to the next thing.

Vlogging has become a quiet act of resistance for me.

Capturing these experiences in longer-form videos has allowed me to slow down, revisit conversations, relive laughter, and fully re-experience moments that otherwise would’ve felt fleeting. Watching these memories back reminds me that joy deserves to be savored.

If you’ve been feeling like life has become fragmented or rushed, I hope this vlog encourages you to create your own “side quests” and to hold onto the moments that make you feel the most zest. Sometimes healing looks like giving yourself permission to slow down long enough to remember that your life is happening right now.

✨ Thank you for coming along with me.

July is Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, and I’m choosing to honor it the same way I encourage my clients to honor themselves: by making room for joy. 💚✨

What better way to celebrate than by attending Essence Festival for the first time!? I’m grateful for the treat that the entire evening concert series will be (and I secured my humble early bird ticket months ago), but Friday night’s lineup has my heart humming already —would love to be even closer to all the BGM! 😍 🎶 Cannot wait to bask in the brilliance of Essence Festival culture, music, sisterhood, creativity, and collective healing. 💫

Wishing us all a loyalty as unwavering as Spike Lee’s devotion to the New York Knicks. 🎥🍿😍🥰 🎬 💫

The Knicks brought home the championship, but every win starts with consistency, resilience, and showing up when nobody’s watching. Protect your peace, train your mind, and celebrate your progress like it’s a title run. May we all offer the same dedication, patience, faithfulness, and belief to ourselves. 💞

Wellness is not only about caring for the body, but also listening to the inner voice we keep postponing. Journaling, mindfulness, therapy, solitude, prayer, creativity, and reflection create space for us to actually feel what we’ve been trying to outrun.

Healing requires honesty. Reflection. Processing. Stillness.

Journaling has personally become one of the most transformative parts of my own healing journey. It has helped me untangle emotions, release mental clutter, gain clarity, and return to myself during seasons where life felt heavy. That experience is what inspired me to create Restoring My Radiance: A 30 Day Guided Journal for Self Care — a resource designed to support people beyond the therapy room, especially those navigating barriers like cost, stigma, lack of access, or simply trying to figure out how to begin prioritizing themselves again.

Your healing deserves intention and your inner world deserves attention. 🌍

Whether you’re reading by the water, writing in a quiet hotel room, sitting in your car during lunch break, or winding down at home after a long day, I hope you make room for yourself this season.

Books and booked flights! ✈️ 📚💫✨

Miami doesn’t owe me a single thing! ❤️‍🔥
I see regular reading, writing, and screening retreats in my future 😏

Moseyed over to South Beach for the 30th Anniversary of the American Black Film Festival in Miami 🎥 🎞️ 😍. A highlight was being present for Netflix’s Celebration of Black Television Panel with Strong Black Lead. As a licensed counselor (🤭) I adhere to our code of ethics no matter how high profile my clients may be. Confidentiality, professionalism, and psychological safety don’t take a vacation. The stories entrusted to me will always remain protected and the standards remain the same whether I’m partnering with celebrities or everyday people because actually, every single client of mine is treated as the star of their own movie! 💫 They are the visionaries and architects of their futures.

What I can say is: it is such an honor to be trusted as a confidante, therapist, consultant, coach—whatever they need for real lol as a big dreamer and screenwriter myself. It is a special experience to support those in executive leadership positions, entertainment, and the arts because I understand that a true sense of safety can seem more elusive with bigger platforms and assignments. Thoroughly soaking in the culture, creativity, and brilliance of our storytelling 🎭 🎬🎨
