That’s what this whole carousel is about, because so much of what we do here is exactly that.

Checking in on the families walking through this process. Checking in on the fears, the hopes, the “is this even going to work” moments.

A few OT spots are opening up for August and September — and stories like this are exactly why we hold them.
~
This sweet boy came back to AKAP for another round of our intensive OT program, and this time we added Low Level Laser Therapy into the mix. We followed the oculomotor protocol from Erinn at OTeims, along with a body protocol focused on his right arm.
~
Over the course of his intensive, we saw increased attention, improved tracking to the left and right, stronger overall visual engagement, more hand opening on his right side, and a real increase in his willingness to use both sides of his body.
~
This is the kind of progress that reminds us why we build intensives the way we do.
