We are still looking for our next fantastic team member! PTs and PTAs, come experience the joy of changing lives every day!!!

STEPS For Recovery is seeking a passionate and innovative Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a small, family-owned practice, we can offer a variety of schedule and compensation options to optimize your desired work-life balance. Full-time, part-time or per diem positions available.

This is an adult neuro specialty practice, with an emphasis on stroke and brain injury rehabilitation. The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable, confident, and experienced in treating adults recovering from stroke and brain injury and will also share the curiosity, excitement and commitment to developing their craft that makes the team at STEPS for Recovery special. We foster a collaborative atmosphere where we share ideas and talents to help our patients achieve maximum results. We are looking for team members who want to contribute and learn from their teammates.

If you have ever felt like successful rehab after a stroke or brain injury should go beyond being independent with household mobility and basic self-care using compensatory strategies, and you believe there must be something better out there for individuals recovering from stroke or brain injury, then we might be a great fit for each other. Come be a part of a team that’s changing lives every day.

We would prefer to hire a Full-Time team member but we are opening to considering alternative arrangements. Send your resume to [email protected] for consideration for this position or with any questions!

STEP of the Week…Sue in pink did such a great job helping us with our raised planters last year, we invited her back for a repeat performance this year. Today, Sue in orange, planted petunias to beautify our entrance, and she did it all standing up! We preach that life is therapy and here is a perfect example of using an activity that is meaningful to facilitate recovery, rather than waiting to recover before engaging in activity you love. We can’t wait to see what magic you create NEXT year and we are excited to enjoy the beautiful flowers all summer!

A special Valentine’s spotlight goes to Ronnie, who stood up and hugged his wife for the first time since his stroke. What a wonderful Valentine’s gift. ❤️
