One of the biggest misconceptions about physical therapy is that you have to be injured to benefit from it.

Rikki is an avid marathon runner who comes in regularly for maintenance and recovery work. These sessions help address minor issues before they become major problems and allow her to continue training consistently.

Just like runners invest in good shoes, nutrition, and training plans, investing in recovery can have a significant impact on long-term performance and injury prevention.

If you're a runner training for your next race, don't wait until something hurts.

One of the best parts of what we do is helping athletes get back to performing at the highest level.

Ryan, a 17-year-old sprinter from Middle Creek High School, came to us dealing with shin splints that were limiting his ability to train and compete comfortably.

Over the course of treatment, he stayed committed to the process, put in the work, and made tremendous progress.

Tomorrow, he'll compete at Nationals.

We're incredibly proud of Ryan and grateful to be a small part of his journey. Best of luck tomorrow—we'll be cheering you on.

One of the unique aspects of dry needling is its ability to target trigger points and areas of muscle tightness that can be difficult to access with hands-on treatment alone.

In this clip, we’re treating the upper trapezius and eliciting a significant local twitch response. Many clinicians consider this a favorable treatment response when targeting muscular trigger points and dysfunction.

While dry needling is just one tool in the toolbox, it can be a valuable addition to a comprehensive rehabilitation and recovery plan.

Getting your phone stolen is unfortunate.

But realizing your run never synced to Strava?

That’s the real heartbreak 😂

Becca, catcher for the Meredith College softball team 🥎

A few weeks ago, she sustained an MCL sprain while sliding. Since then, we’ve been focused on restoring strength, improving stability, and progressively building her back toward full participation.

The goal isn’t just getting back on the field—it’s returning with confidence.
She’s been putting in the work and making great progress.

Dry needling treatment for quadriceps pain.

Muscle tightness and irritation in the quads can impact performance, comfort, and movement quality. Dry needling is one tool we may utilize as part of a comprehensive treatment plan to help address these issues and support recovery.
