Last night I was feeling a little cranky, tired and just plain worn out. I decided a bit of self care was just what I needed. I found this recipe online - Using my overripe banana and avocado, mixed with a bit of olive & coconut oil and some essential oils (clary sage, geranium, lavendar and frankenscense). After sleeping one of the most chill & relaxing sleeps I've had in weeks I feel awesome this morning. I'll keep ya posted on how the homemade & free hair treatment worked out.

Do any of you have a favorite do it yourself beauty treatment you can't live without?

I've been drinking espresso before a workout when I feel a bit sluggish and am finding it to be an awesome thermogenic and energy booster!! This article explains nicely why drinking a shot or two of espresso can benefit your workout. I am sure there are those who feel opposite though...any opinions on drinking espresso as a pre-workout?

5 habits for health we can learn from Greek culture

https://www.facebook.com/MindBodyGreen/posts/10151864797059372

The word "diet" comes from the ancient Greek “diaita,” which means "the way of life." In Ancient Greece, a diet was about good health, not radical weight loss or getting into a certain outfit.
