Meet our new ER Medical Director, Dr. Julie Mills!

Dr. Mills is a board-certified emergency physician who joined Cascade Medical Center in January 2026. With over 22 years of experience, she brings a strong passion for rural medicine, EMS leadership, and high-quality patient care.
A Michigan native, Dr. Mills has practiced across Colorado and Idaho and has long supported EMS teams throughout the region. She’s been part of the Cascade team since 2019 and is now serving full-time in the Emergency Department.
Outside the hospital, she enjoys Idaho’s outdoors—from skiing and biking to kayaking—with her dog, Boo.

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Mills into this leadership role and grateful to have her serving our community!
