I wish I could say I took the weekend off or even had today off for the holiday. Guilt drives my over scheduled life so I can accommodate loyal clients. So I am taking this moment to enjoy the quiet morning with a crackling fire, coffee, and some pages of a book.

Did you know the Fire Department is having their 5 Year Parade this Sunday, Aug. 2 at Noon? With that being said, STH 28 / Madison Avenue will be closed to traffic at 11:55 AM and will remain closed until the parade is complete approximately 1 hour. The approved detour route is below. Normal vehicles will bypass Cascade to the north on CTH E, CTH V, Highview Road and CTH F. All Commercial Vehicle Traffic will travel on CTH W.
