❤️🌷 CELEBRATING YONG — THE BLESSING IN SIMPLE BLESSINGS 🌷❤️
Today, we celebrate a very special person who has given more than 16 years of her heart, her time, her talents, and her unwavering devotion to Simple Blessings.
This Friday, September 11th, we will say goodbye to our dear Yong Cowger as she begins a new and well-deserved chapter—retirement. And while we are incredibly happy for her, we would be lying if we said our hearts aren't a little heavy knowing that she won't be walking through our doors each day. ❤️
For more than 16 years, Yong has been so much more than an employee. She has been a familiar smile, a helping hand, a comforting presence, and a source of love for countless residents who have called Simple Blessings home.
Yong has a beautiful way of caring for people. She doesn't simply prepare meals—she puts love into them. She doesn't simply assist our residents—she cares for them. She doesn't simply come to work—she brings her heart with her.
Through the years, she has prepared countless delicious meals, shared countless conversations and smiles, offered comfort on difficult days, celebrated the good days, and cared for our residents as though they were her very own family.
And that is what makes Yong so special.
She has loved them. ❤️
She has touched and warmed so many lives during her time here, and the impact she has made cannot be measured in years, meals, or hours worked. It can be measured in the people who felt cared for because Yong was there.
She has been part of the stories, memories, celebrations, and everyday moments that make Simple Blessings what it is. She has helped make this place feel a little more like home.
And honestly, we couldn't let her leave without saying what so many of us already know:
Yong has been the “Blessing” in Simple Blessings. 🌷
As she moves into retirement, we hope she knows just how deeply she is appreciated, how many lives she has touched, and how much she will be missed.
Yong, thank you for 16+ years of devotion. Thank you for every meal, every smile, every helping hand, every kind word, every laugh, every hug, and every moment you gave to the residents and families entrusted to your care.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful heart with us.
Now it is your turn to slow down, breathe, enjoy your family, cook because you want to, sleep in, make memories, and enjoy all the beautiful things that retirement has waiting for you. You have certainly earned it. ❤️
