Not just a button pusher🤓39 years of clinical experience, most of my patients have been “mine” for 14 years, I know their allergies by heart, they contact me at all hours when in distress, I can usually get them through the night with taking a history over the phone or send them to ER if it’s safest. Knowing clients longitudinally is where healthcare is most productive for client and clinician, and although I push buttons to send scripts, the knowledge base deciding when the button needs to be pushed in in conjunction with your medical history which I know by heart, is the value in direct primary care!
