Good morning everyone!

Our LMT, McKina Jewell, has 18 days till surgery, Last working day is Oct 21st. In light of this we do have Ian Hager as the locum tenens (substitute massage therapist) during this medical leave.

Excited to announce- Saturday's are available by appointment and availability with Ian!

For those who know me, know that I have a deep passion for massage and bodywork. Those who have been in a massage with me, know it is truly treatment work provided. For those who dont- there are 2 problems that needs to be addressed:

I am a FULLY Licensed Massage Therapist. I am NOT a masseuse, while by definition I am a woman who provides massage. I have gone to school, I have taken the MBLEx (Massage & Bodywork Licensing Exam), I continue my education above state requirements. Masseuse is NOT the same as a Licensed Massage Therapist.

I DO NOT TOLERATE ANY SEXUAL REQUESTS OR EVEN HINTING AROUND THE TOPIC. There are ZERO chances. Your name and ALL info I have is turned into the local and proper authorities. These individuals do get trespassed and "black balled" from ALL of my services.

I really do love my profession and in school they teach the "dark side of massage". What baffles me is there are people who boldly ask even before meeting me (thank gosh because then I do not allow them to come in for an appointment). Most come from Yelp but recently I have been dealing with this from individuals simply googling or on Facebook. Sadly, masseuse is a term that has a VERY negative impact on the profession as non-licensed individuals providing illegal and elicit services use that title.

Thank you for your time. I do love and drive forward through these misconceptions and discomfort in hopes that through shared knowledge and education we can continue making strides with Modern Western Medicine to be seen as an equal option to treatment.

Hello!
I have had a good group of new followers and I am so thankful!!! I am sorry my posts are not as consistent mainly because we have entered into June and choas has broken free!!!
Working to get 20+veterans 100% FREE Custom Treatment Massages.
Gearing up to head to a veteran silkies hike to volunteer and offer hands on deck for massage and gifts!
Still gathering donations for veterans.
