There’s a lot that happens between “I think I want to go to medical school” and actually opening a medical practice.
Believe it or not, this was just a snippet of what it took to get here.
A lot of work. A lot of school. A lot of random family moments at the TCOM library. A lot of figuring things out as we went.
Dr Maples has always been incredibly disciplined about the things that matter to him. He doesn’t need to be the loudest person in the room or take shortcuts to get where he is going. He puts his head down, does the work and keeps moving forward.
And while this may have started as his journey into medicine, it was never just his. Dr Maples and Megan were married with 3 (and a half) kids when he started at TCOM, so the boys have basically grown up with medical school, residency and now Still Point as part of the family schedule.
It has never been easy, and it definitely wasn’t quick, but piece by piece it all came together.
We are still building, still learning and still very proud of what we have built. 💙
