Steadfast Health

Steadfast Health Hi, I'm Sandra! I'm a health coach and I help people who are tired of gambling with their health and Hi there! I am so glad you found me here.

My name is Sandra Letenzi and I'm a Certified Holistic Health Coach. I used to work in the corporate world but left that behind to pursue this health and wellness passion of mine. I've struggled with my own health issues and things still aren't perfect, but I have made tremendous progress in healing my own digestive issues, bloating, skin issues and creating balance in my life with more than just

food. Because let's be for real: health expands far beyond what you put in your mouth. If you're not happy with your relationships, physical activity, career, spirituality, etc...then it really doesn't matter how much kale you eat. Stress is a killer and we have to learn to manage it to thrive. We have to bring more awareness and attention to all these facets of life because they work synergistically to create true health. That's where the "holistic" part comes in. So, you may be asking, what's a health coach? Coaching is an amazing thing, you see...it helps open up opportunities where you may otherwise not see any. It helps support you, yet nudge you in the right direction and keep you accountable. Those are the 2 things that make ALL the difference in the world - support and accountability. Without them, we fall back into the same old patterns and get more of what we don't want. Most people already know what to do, they're just not doing it. We don't need more information. We need someone to encourage our progress and give us a kick in the ass when we need it. I'm part cheerleader and part tough love coach. This is how change is brought about. Lasting change (new habits for LIFE) - this is not some quick fix! This process also has to be sustainable, easy and FUN. Otherwise who the heck wants to do it, right?! I'm looking to work with highly motivated people who know there is something better out there for them, that there is more to life than going through the motions, feeling exhausted, with no energy, in pain, bloated, overweight and unhappy. Life has so much more to offer you, but perhaps you need help taking the first step. That's what I'm here for. I want to listen to you and really understand what you want for yourself in this beautiful life. I'm talking about getting to the core of what you really, really want. Working together, we can get there, or at least a lot closer. It all starts with acknowledging that you want things to be different, better...and then taking that first leap. I offer a complimentary strategy session where we talk about what's stopping you or slowing you down, keeping you stuck and we create an action plan together. This is 60 minutes focused entirely on YOU. By the end of this conversation, we'll be able to see if we're a good fit for working together. Transformation is possible. And it starts to happen quickly. Are you ready to try something totally new? This is an opportunity to get really curious about just how healthy you can be. All you have to do is show up for yourself. Schedule your free strategy session with me here: steadfasthealth.com/contact - I am SO looking forward to meeting you!

Surpriseeeee 😉 Baby Harvat due June 2! 😁To say 2020 has been strange is quite an understatement. With all the uncertainty in the air these days, this has been such a happy distraction. My transition into motherhood looks a bit different than I thought it would, but we’re healthy & that’s all I can ask for. Insanely thankful to have had a smooth pregnancy and to have Mike by my side. 🤗 No idea if it’s a boy or girl, butttt I’m oddly convinced it’s a boy. 🤷🏻‍♀️💕
Thinking of all the mamas-to-be out there, lot of feelings going on right now! I hope you’re well, friends. ❤️

Sunshine and celery juice. Happy Saturday, friends.
Who else drinks this potent healing green goodness? Most mornings, Mike juices it for us. It’s funny because when I first started drinking celery juice in March, he thought it was a little odd but trusted I was going through the trouble of juicing it every day (& going to 3 grocery stores to find it because it’s constantly sold out!) for good reason. He started off with 12 oz and it took him foreverrr to finish it. Not long after, he was eager to drink it day after day. But he travels a lot for work so there would be several days he obviously didn’t drink it. He would come home & juice first thing in the morning. If you know Mike, he’s not usually a juice guy. It’s come to the point where when he travels he’ll tell me he’s excited to get home and get back to celery juice. He’s had some stomach issues on and off for a couple years and celery juice is clearly helping slowly but surely. Anyone I’ve inspired to try it has seen the benefits for themselves.
A few things to note:
💪it must be raw/unpasteurized & freshly juiced - buying it off store shelves is typically useless
💪always opt for organic celery when possible
💪it must be consumed on an empty stomach (preferably 1st thing in the morning) - I do lemon water first and wait 20-30 min before celery
💪do not add anything else to it- no lemon, no ginger, nothing! Must be straight celery juice
💪some bloating and discomfort at first is normal- it’s literally killing off viruses and bacteria and pathogens in your body. Being near a bathroom helps at first while your body gets used to it
💪drink it immediately after juicing it, it oxidizes quickly
has started a healing revolution with celery juice and it’s incredible to read the testimonials of people who have bounced back from awful symptoms and conditions thanks to celery juice. It sounds too simple, I know, but millions of people are obsessed with it for a reason. There’s no money in celery. It is a humble herb (nope, it’s not a veggie) with so much healing power.

I’m kind of a lemon hoarder. Sometimes limes, mostly lemons.
This is me every morning. I drink about a liter of lemon water upon waking before any food. I worked my way up to this much, it may seem like a lot so start small! I’m fully aware you might be rolling your eyes 🙄because I KNOW you already know lemon water is good for ya- but perhaps you don’t know the why behind it? Why is it so critical for your LIVER?? For me, it always helps to know the why - I’m just more likely to be motivated to do something if I understand why! Mike calls me the great interrogator🙈
Lemons AND limes are both powerful so choose whichever you prefer.
🍋 Lemons and limes are particularly hydrating thanks to their abundance of trace minerals
🍋They’re loaded with extremely absorbable vitamin C - vitamin C is the precursor to collagen which declines after age 30… this is a big reason we get wrinkles and saggier skin as we age
🍋They’re loaded with calcium!
🍋The vitamin C and calcium bond together, making them each more bioavailable (absorbable) in your body
🍋Lemons and limes are very alkalizing - this means they help create an environment in your body that is inhospitable to disease
🍋They are full of antioxidants - we need as many of these as we can get to protect our cells from free radical damage (which we’re all constantly exposed to just from being human)
🍋They are a VERY potent cleanser of the liver, kidneys, spleen, gallbladder and thyroid - toxins are very easily stored up in our organs, tissues and cells and we need to actively consume foods that will help expel them from our bodies via our waste, sweat, etc.
While you’re asleep each night, your liver is busy gathering toxins to be excreted the next day. But if you’re not well hydrated first thing in the morning to flush out those toxins through your 💩 and p*e, guess what happens? They just recirculate in your bloodstream and create more work for your liver. Lemons and limes help this process tremendously.
Whatever you can do to ease the burden on your liver, DO IT. Your health will undoubtedly transform in ways that will surprise you.💪👊
Cheers, friends! 🍋💦

I eat 2 apples a day, sometimes more, among plenty of other fruits. I’ll be doing a post on this real soon because it’s been a game changer for my health in the last year and if you’re someone who has struggled with your health, fruit can help you heal in unexpected ways. 👊🙏
Spotlight’s on apples today! 🍎 It’s easy to underestimate the healing powers of apples. They’re everywhere, they’re kind of like the poster child of fruit. But are you actually EATING them regularly or just LOOKING at them and somehow convincing yourself you’re getting the health benefits of them through osmosis? And not just granny smiths “because they’re lower in sugar”. Red-skinned apples are even more potent disease fighters with their extra antioxidants. Apples have phytochemicals that help with heavy metal detoxification (super important, as we’re all exposed to heavy metals constantly and we need to actively get them OUT of our bodies so they’re not stored in our cells). These phytochemical also feed your neurons, making them a powerful brain food. 🧠
Apples reduce viral and bacterial loads (which we all have) that lead to inflammation (root cause of many diseases). They are one of your liver’s absolute favorite foods and critical for healing. They help repair damaged skin and improve circulation in your lymphatic system (this is super important because your lymphatic system doesn’t move unless YOU move and toxins easily get stored here- you don’t want that!). Apples regulate blood sugar and cleanse the colon.
If you have SIBO or IBS, apples are even more important in your diet. Apples are also an extremely hydrating food and perfect after workouts. 💪
Now do your badass self a favor and go eat some apples! Every single day. And preferably organic, because unfortunately conventional apples are one of the most pesticide-laden foods.

Your liver is your 2nd largest organ, yet it’s out of sight, out of mind for most. Until a year ago, I personally made the mistake of thinking that since I rarely drink alcohol, my liver is just fine. Nope. Your liver performs over 2,000 functions for you day after day. It’s your body’s main filter. It fights for you to keep you as healthy as possible every single day. It often never catches a break. It goes and goes and goes and goes until it just can’t anymore. I was shocked to learn how many symptoms and conditions point back to a liver that’s overburdened and toxic.
Acne and other skin issues? Diabetes? Heart disease? Hormonal problems? Adrenal issues? Weight issues? Gout? Bloating? Brain fog? Constipation? Strep throat? Energy issues? I could go on for a while. The health of your liver plays a huge part in all of those and a ton more.
Yet most of us never learn a damn thing about our livers, let alone how to actually take care of them! I’d like to change that. I was ignorant about my liver till a year ago and maybe you are too. I’ve become absolutely fascinated by this subject over the last year and if you ask my clients, friends, family and anyone else who I talk to about health (literally everyone), it’s something I can’t shut up about because IT REALLY MATTERS. Hear me when I say all of our livers need help.
So I’ll just be over here posting tidbits about taking better care of your liver because it might just change your life for the better. And honestly, that’s why I’m here, that’s what I really care about.

I’ve had a few sweet friends check in recently & ask where the hellll I’ve been on IG the last few months. I needed a few nudges to get back on here so thanks and in particular 🤗
I feel like the last year and a half of my life has been a little insane, constantly in flux and I can’t believe how much has changed. We moved to CO last October, lived in a tiny apartment for 7 months, moved into our house in Castle Rock, CO back in June and 4 days later I started my 200 hour yoga teacher training with Corepower. Between health coaching full time for a startup, running my business and a minimum of 15 hrs/week at yoga training, I felt reallll stretched thin. But as my brother would say, it’s all self-imposed so stop complaining and damn he’s right. Always is.
Teacher training was an amazing experience and I met some truly wonderful people. It opened up a door I’m excited about, and there is SO much more to dive into- I feel like I barely scratched the surface even after 200 hours. There are so many cool directions to go with my certification that I was clueless about before. I’m interested in teaching but we’ll see. It’s a big commitment and I’m just giving myself time to figure it all out. I sometimes jump from one thing to the next and feel overwhelmed because I didn’t give the last thing enough time - if that even makes sense- and this time I’m not playing that game. So we’ll see - but for now, I’m practicing what I’ve learned, keepin it fresh so I don’t forget it and honoring the space I need.
It’s good to be back, friends. 😊🙏
